Early work on this series, experimentation and play on paper and wood board, began in the winter of 2021 while I was feeling inspired by the cold earth, ice, and layers of snow. This series has been in constant evolution over time and the feeling of these paintings, the marks and colors, have moved from being very organic and limited in color, to a more structured and geometric and vibrant.
