I am an American artist living in the suburbs of Rochester, New York. I have had a passion for creativity my entire life, studying art in high school and at University at Buffalo. I have continued my education on my own and am a self-taught photographer. I have also dabbled in writing poetry, portrait and interior photography, interior decorating/design, graphic design, greeting cards, and web design. When I am not at my "real" job as a school psychologist, I am either caring for my family, curled up with a book, snapping photos from behind my camera, or painting in my home studio that overlooks a charming street of vintage homes, globe street lamps and towering sycamore trees.
I am a mixed media artist, working with oils, acrylics, watercolor, charcoal, pencil, and oil pastel. My work ranges from classic landscape and still life to abstract pieces. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, architecture, industrial and city sites, texture, color, and every day things. I try to infuse my vision and emotion into my creations, striving to evoke a visceral response in the viewer. I hope you enjoy perusing my work!
